I have tried Telus optik (IPTV) and was very disappointed in heavy compressed HD Picture and very poor sound/Very low sound volume and very poor 5.1 Info or sound. The Hopper is what both Bell/Telus Sat need today. Not next year.. They also need to improve power consume<br />and sleep mode. This is one thing I do not like about my current Telus/Bell 9241 PVR.. It always on. I hope Bell/Hopper have HDD sleep mode.Chesternoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-315277651707656653.post-51531407180135139152012-01-13T07:01:44.305-08:002012-01-13T07:01:44.305-08:00I hope you guys north of the border get it too bec...I hope you guys north of the border get it too because once the hopper is released to the general public, it will change the way satellite companies integrate services. My favorite feature on the Hopper is that it comes complete with Primetime Anytime, and that alone is a plus in my book because of the eight days worth of network programming stored right on the DVR for easy access. I wish I would have gone to CES to see the unveiling, but because I work for DISH Network I did have the opportunity to use the Hopper firsthand at an employee demonstration, I can say it carries Pandora and other internet applications as well. Personally I can’t wait to put it in my own home, and I hope you guys can too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
